Customer Newsletters

We all get email newsletters. Some of them we delete immediately and some we read regularly. What’s the difference? The ones I read provide information that is either interesting or useful. The best ones provide both.

Newsletters are valuable for several reasons:

  • They provide information that your customers can use.
  • They can do extra duty as marketing pieces for prospective customers
  • They can establish you as an industry expert or “thought leader”
  • They give insights into what your customers are interested in by letting you see which stories they click on and which customers read them, and which ones don’t.
